‘Tis the season…..it’s finally nice enough outside to get yard work done and decorate for fall. Mums, pumpkins, scarecrows – oh my! But there is so much to do inside. We are in the middle of renovating my son’s bathroom. We tried to have it done in time for the start of school, but that didn’t happen. I mean, why would I try to minimize the chaos? In addition to that, we are renovating our family room, painting our kitchen cabinets, ripping up wall-to-wall carpeting and dealing with what’s underneath.

Part of my problem is my focus keeps shifting. I get tired of working on one project, so then I just don’t work on it for a while, and move on to something else. Eventually, I come back to the original project and wrap things up, but for the most part I live with a bunch of unfinished projects most of the time. I used to blame my husband for it. That stopped working when I was the one starting all the projects 😀.

Anyway, at this time of year, I believe in taking advantage of the weather and aligning what I focus on accordingly. There will be plenty of cold days this winter where I won’t be outside. So, I will have plenty of opportunities to get the inside work done. For now, it will be pumpkins, mums, and scarecrows. 👻🎃
